Tall garden sculpture of a lady, her breast defined in the grain of the wood, the beauty of the grain suggesting the intricacies and beauty within us all. Her face, carved in lime suggests intelligence and inquisitivity, looking inward and looking out. On the other side of this carving - a free standing plank of larch wood - her hair is carved and the grooves stained with wood dye. The hair is carved like celtic knotwork and flows from top to bottom with a beautiful fluidity. She is one of a series of 3, a discussion on the beauty of woman.
